New Pathways in Anglophone Literary and Cultural Studies in Pandemic Times

Dear colleagues, dear students,

New Pathways is going ONLINE!

It is our honor to invite you to our virtual student conference of literary and cultural studies in English, titled New Pathways in Anglophone Literary and Cultural Studies in Pandemic Times. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for emerging scholars, advanced M.A. students, and Ph.D. candidates, to exchange ideas and present their current research.

We are looking forward to discovering what exciting and provocative new pathways you are following in your research.

Keynote speakers:

  • Dr Don Sparling, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic
  • Dr Sagar Deva, University of Leeds, UK
  • Dr Mathias Clasen, Aarhus University, Denmark

The conference will be held on November 20-21 (Friday-Saturday) in an online environment (Zoom). 

Please send your abstracts (250 words) including affiliation to the organizing committee, newpathways2020@phil.muni.cz. The deadline has been prolonged until October 2, 2020. There will be 20-minute presentations followed by a 5-minute discussion.
