The Department of Linguistics in the University of Pittsburgh Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences offers one- and two-year MA programs in applied linguistics and in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) that prepare students for teaching and research in the interdisciplinary field of applied linguistics.
