Aboriginal Literature: Writing Country back to Nation

This lecture will briefly outline the rise and continuation of Aboriginal print literature in Australia since the bicentenary of the Invasion, 1988; and examine the ways in which our writings assert a literary sovereignty that writes out stories, Countries, hers/histories, experiences and aspirations back to the colonial literature of invasion, erasure and misrepresentation.
